तपसा ब्रह्मचर्येण सत्येन च दमेन च ।
युक्तोऽपि धर्मनित्यश्च न स्वर्गवासमाप्स्यसि ॥२६॥

26. Even if you are endowed with spiritual austerities (tapas), celibacy (brahmacarya), truthfulness, and self-control, and are always committed to your intrinsic nature (dharma), you will not attain residence in heaven.
