महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-30, verse-13

परमं सौम्य इत्युक्तस्ताभ्यां राजा शशास ताम् ।
कन्ये विप्रावुपचर देववत्पितृवच्च ह ॥१३॥
13. paramaṁ saumya ityuktastābhyāṁ rājā śaśāsa tām ,
kanye viprāvupacara devavatpitṛvacca ha.

tām kanye viprau upacara devavat pitṛvat ca ha
13. tābhyām paramam saumya iti uktaḥ rājā tām śaśāsa

13. The king, having been addressed by those two (sages) as 'supremely gentle,' instructed her: 'O daughter, serve these two sages as you would gods and fathers, indeed!'
