महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-30, verse-20

अन्योन्यस्य स आख्येय इति तद्वै मृषा कृतम् ।
भवता वचनं ब्रह्मंस्तस्मादेतद्वदाम्यहम् ॥२०॥
20. anyonyasya sa ākhyeya iti tadvai mṛṣā kṛtam ,
bhavatā vacanaṁ brahmaṁstasmādetadvadāmyaham.
20. anyonyasya saḥ ākhyeyaḥ iti tat vai mṛṣā kṛtam
bhavatā vacanam brahman tasmāt etat vadāmi aham
20. saḥ anyonyasya ākhyeyaḥ iti tat vacanam bhavatā
mṛṣā kṛtam vai brahman tasmāt aham etat vadāmi
20. That [thought] should have been disclosed to one another. Indeed, that agreement (vacana) was falsely made by you, O Brahmin! Therefore, I say this.
