एवं तां क्षपयित्वा हि जायते नृपसत्तम ।

O best of kings, by thus exhausting her (material nature, prakṛti), one is truly liberated. For she is considered his intrinsic nature (prakṛti), and liberation (mokṣa) is declared to arise from her destruction.
