यदा ह्ययमिहैवान्यैः प्राकृतैर्दुःखितो भवेत् ।
सुखितैर्दुःखितैर्वापि दृश्योऽप्यस्य विनिर्णयः ॥३६॥

36. Indeed, when a person here in this world becomes distressed by other ordinary beings—whether those beings are happy or distressed themselves—the discernment of this (situation) is also evident.
