महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-12, verse-24

निवृत्तमथ तं तस्मादभिप्रायाद्विचेतसम् ।
अहमामन्त्र्य सुस्निग्धमश्वत्थामानमब्रुवम् ॥२४॥
24. nivṛttamatha taṁ tasmādabhiprāyādvicetasam ,
ahamāmantrya susnigdhamaśvatthāmānamabruvam.
24. nivṛttam atha tam tasmāt abhiprāyāt vicetasam
aham āmantrya susnigdham aśvatthāmānam abruvam
24. atha aham tasmāt abhiprāyāt nivṛttam vicetasam

24. Then, I addressed Aśvatthāman, who was bewildered and had returned from that intention, very affectionately, and spoke to him.
