महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-12, verse-21

गृहाण चक्रमित्युक्तो मया तु तदनन्तरम् ।
जग्राहोपेत्य सहसा चक्रं सव्येन पाणिना ।
न चैतदशकत्स्थानात्संचालयितुमच्युत ॥२१॥
21. gṛhāṇa cakramityukto mayā tu tadanantaram ,
jagrāhopetya sahasā cakraṁ savyena pāṇinā ,
na caitadaśakatsthānātsaṁcālayitumacyuta.
21. gṛhāṇa cakram iti uktaḥ mayā tu
tat anantaram jagrāha upetya sahasā
cakram savyena pāṇinā na ca etat
aśakat sthānāt saṁcālayitum acyuta
21. acyuta! mayā tu "gṛhāṇa cakram" iti uktaḥ (saḥ) tat anantaram sahasā upetya savyena pāṇinā cakram jagrāha.
ca etat sthānāt saṁcālayitum na aśakat.
21. Then, upon being told by me, 'Take the discus (chakra)', he quickly approached and grasped the discus (chakra) with his left hand. But, O Acyuta, he was unable to move it from its spot.
