महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-12, verse-16

स राजन्प्रीयमाणेन मयाप्युक्तः कृताञ्जलिः ।
याचमानः प्रयत्नेन मत्तोऽस्त्रं भरतर्षभ ॥१६॥
16. sa rājanprīyamāṇena mayāpyuktaḥ kṛtāñjaliḥ ,
yācamānaḥ prayatnena matto'straṁ bharatarṣabha.

yācamānaḥ prayatnena mattaḥ astram bharatarṣabha

16. O King, O best among the Bhāratas, he (Arjuna), with folded hands, earnestly requested a weapon from me, and I, being pleased, also spoke to him.
