महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-10, chapter-12, verse-13

यत्तदुग्रं तपः कृष्ण चरन्सत्यपराक्रमः ।
अगस्त्याद्भारताचार्यः प्रत्यपद्यत मे पिता ॥१३॥
13. yattadugraṁ tapaḥ kṛṣṇa caransatyaparākramaḥ ,
agastyādbhāratācāryaḥ pratyapadyata me pitā.

agastyāt bhāratācāryaḥ pratyapadyata me pitā

13. O Krishna, O teacher of the Bhāratas, my father, whose might (parākrama) was truly great, performed severe austerity (tapas) and obtained that (power/knowledge/weapon, implied) from Agastya.
