महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-78, verse-34

इत्येतानि समीक्ष्याहं कारणानि भृगूद्वह ।
अधर्मभयसंविग्नः शर्मिष्ठामुपजग्मिवान् ॥३४॥
34. ityetāni samīkṣyāhaṁ kāraṇāni bhṛgūdvaha ,
adharmabhayasaṁvignaḥ śarmiṣṭhāmupajagmivān.
34. iti etāni samīkṣya aham kāraṇāni bhṛgu-udvaha |
adharma-bhaya-saṃvignaḥ śarmiṣṭhām upajagmi-vān
34. O descendant of Bhṛgu, having considered these reasons, I, perturbed by the fear of adharma, approached Śarmiṣṭhā.
