महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-78, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
श्रुत्वा कुमारं जातं तु देवयानी शुचिस्मिता ।
चिन्तयामास दुःखार्ता शर्मिष्ठां प्रति भारत ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
śrutvā kumāraṁ jātaṁ tu devayānī śucismitā ,
cintayāmāsa duḥkhārtā śarmiṣṭhāṁ prati bhārata.

1. Vaiśampāyana said: Hearing that a son was born, Devayānī, with a pure smile, became distressed and began to worry about Śarmiṣṭhā, O Bhārata.
