महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-78, verse-3

शर्मिष्ठोवाच ।
ऋषिरभ्यागतः कश्चिद्धर्मात्मा वेदपारगः ।
स मया वरदः कामं याचितो धर्मसंहितम् ॥३॥
3. śarmiṣṭhovāca ,
ṛṣirabhyāgataḥ kaściddharmātmā vedapāragaḥ ,
sa mayā varadaḥ kāmaṁ yācito dharmasaṁhitam.
3. Śarmiṣṭhā uvāca ṛṣiḥ abhyāgataḥ kaścit dharmātmā
vedapāragaḥ saḥ mayā varadaḥ kāmam yācitaḥ dharmasaṃhitam
3. Śarmiṣṭhā said: "A certain sage arrived, a righteous soul, proficient in the Vedas. He, the bestower of boons, was requested by me for a desire consistent with dharma."
