महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-46, verse-31

तेन गत्वा नृपश्रेष्ठ नगरेऽस्मिन्निवेदितम् ।
यथावृत्तं तु तत्सर्वं तक्षकस्य द्विजस्य च ॥३१॥
31. tena gatvā nṛpaśreṣṭha nagare'sminniveditam ,
yathāvṛttaṁ tu tatsarvaṁ takṣakasya dvijasya ca.
31. tena gatvā nṛpa-śreṣṭha nagare asmin niveditam
yathā-vṛttam tu tat sarvam takṣakasya dvijasya ca
31. "Having returned to this city, O best of kings, that man reported everything that had happened concerning Takṣaka and the Brahmin."
