महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-46, verse-23

प्रासादस्थं यत्तमपि दग्धवान्विषवह्निना ।
ततस्त्वं पुरुषव्याघ्र विजयायाभिषेचितः ॥२३॥
23. prāsādasthaṁ yattamapi dagdhavānviṣavahninā ,
tatastvaṁ puruṣavyāghra vijayāyābhiṣecitaḥ.
23. prāsādastham yattam api dagdhavān viṣavahninā
tataḥ tvam puruṣavyāghra vijayāya abhiṣecitaḥ
23. Even though your father (King Parikshit) was in the palace and well-protected, (Takṣaka) burned him with the fire of poison. Therefore, O best of men (Janamejaya), you were then consecrated for victory (over the snakes).
