महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-46, verse-30

स तु तेनैव वृक्षेण भस्मीभूतोऽभवत्तदा ।
द्विजप्रभावाद्राजेन्द्र जीवितः सवनस्पतिः ॥३०॥
30. sa tu tenaiva vṛkṣeṇa bhasmībhūto'bhavattadā ,
dvijaprabhāvādrājendra jīvitaḥ savanaspatiḥ.
30. sa tu tena eva vṛkṣeṇa bhasmībhūtaḥ abhavat tadā
dvija-prabhāvāt rāja-indra jīvitaḥ sa vanaspatiḥ
30. "But then, that man was burned to ashes by that very tree. Yet, O King of kings, due to the power of the Brahmin, that tree became alive again."
