महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-160, verse-40

तामन्विच्छन्स नृपतिः परिचक्राम तत्तदा ।
वनं वनजपत्राक्षीं भ्रमन्नुन्मत्तवत्तदा ॥४०॥
40. tāmanvicchansa nṛpatiḥ paricakrāma tattadā ,
vanaṁ vanajapatrākṣīṁ bhramannunmattavattadā.

vanam vanaja-patra-akṣīm bhraman unmattavat tadā
40. Then, that king, searching for her—the one with eyes like lotus petals—wandered through that forest like a madman at that time.
