महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-160, verse-1

अर्जुन उवाच ।
तापत्य इति यद्वाक्यमुक्तवानसि मामिह ।
तदहं ज्ञातुमिच्छामि तापत्यार्थविनिश्चयम् ॥१॥
1. arjuna uvāca ,
tāpatya iti yadvākyamuktavānasi māmiha ,
tadahaṁ jñātumicchāmi tāpatyārthaviniścayam.
1. arjuna uvāca tāpatya iti yat vākyam uktavān asi mām
iha tat aham jñātum icchāmi tāpatyārthaviniścayam
1. Arjuna said, "I wish to understand the precise meaning (artha-viniścaya) of what you have stated here to me with the term 'tāpatya'."
