महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-1, chapter-160, verse-4

गन्धर्व उवाच ।
हन्त ते कथयिष्यामि कथामेतां मनोरमाम् ।
यथावदखिलां पार्थ धर्म्यां धर्मभृतां वर ॥४॥
4. gandharva uvāca ,
hanta te kathayiṣyāmi kathāmetāṁ manoramām ,
yathāvadakhilāṁ pārtha dharmyāṁ dharmabhṛtāṁ vara.
4. gandharvaḥ uvāca hanta te kathayiṣyāmi kathām etām
manoramām yathāvat akhilām pārtha dharmyām dharmabhṛtām vara
4. The Gandharva said: Well then, O Pārtha, O best among the upholders of natural law (dharma), I will narrate to you this charming story, completely and accurately, a story that concerns natural law (dharma).
