गुरुरुवाच ।
पुत्र शेषमशेषेण दृश्यमाशु विनश्यति ।
यथा तथा स्वप्नपुरं सौषुप्तीं स्थितिमीयुषः ॥ ५ ॥

putra śeṣamaśeṣeṇa dṛśyamāśu vinaśyati ,
yathā tathā svapnapuraṃ sauṣuptīṃ sthitimīyuṣaḥ 5

The teacher (guru) said: O son, everything visible (dṛśya), the entire remainder, quickly perishes completely, just as a dream city vanishes for one who has entered the state of deep sleep.
