अज्ञानान्मन एवेदमित्थं संप्रविजृम्भते ।
प्रत्युल्लासविलासाभ्यां जलमम्बुनिधाविव ॥ ४३ ॥

ajñānānmana evedamitthaṃ saṃpravijṛmbhate ,
pratyullāsavilāsābhyāṃ jalamambunidhāviva 43

43. ajñānāt manaḥ eva idam ittham saṃpravijṛmbhate
pratyullāsa-vilāsābhyām jalam ambunidhau iva

43. From ignorance, this very mind (manas) indeed fully expands and manifests in this manner, through its various emergences and delightful plays, just as water (expresses itself) in the ocean.
