अज्ञानजन्तुना ह्येते श्लिष्टा जाता निरन्तराः ।
अज्ञाने ज्ञानगिलिते पृथक्तिष्ठन्त्यसन्मयाः ॥ १२ ॥

Indeed, these (perceptions and mental impressions) become continuously intertwined and formed by the ignorant individual (ajñānajantu). When (true) knowledge (jñāna) is swallowed by ignorance (ajñāna), these things remain separate, composed of what is unreal (asat).
