योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-5, chapter-67, verse-18

अन्तःसङ्गविहीनास्तु यथा स्नेहा दृषज्जले ।
तथासक्तमनोवृत्तौ बाह्यभोगानुभूतयः ॥ १८ ॥
antaḥsaṅgavihīnāstu yathā snehā dṛṣajjale ,
tathāsaktamanovṛttau bāhyabhogānubhūtayaḥ 18
18. antaḥsaṅgavihīnāḥ tu yathā snehāḥ dṛṣat jale |
tathā asaktamanovṛttau bāhyabhogānubhūtayaḥ ||
18. yathā snehāḥ dṛṣat jale antaḥsaṅgavihīnāḥ tu,
tathā bāhyabhogānubhūtayaḥ asaktamanovṛttau (bhavanti)
18. Just as oils are free from internal attachment (antaḥsaṅga) when in water, so too are the experiences of external enjoyments for one whose mental tendencies are unattached.
