श्रीराम उवाच ।
नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सतः ।
ते ह्यसन्तः कथं सत्तां संपन्ना इति मे वद ॥ ११ ॥

nāsato vidyate bhāvo nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ ,
te hyasantaḥ kathaṃ sattāṃ saṃpannā iti me vada 11

Śrī Rāma said: That which is non-existent (asat) cannot truly come into being (bhāva), and that which is existent (sat) cannot cease to be. So tell me, how can those things which are non-existent attain true existence?
