योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-49, verse-9

वज्रास्त्रमसृजद्दीप्तं चेरुर्वज्रगणास्ततः ।
पिबन्तोऽद्रीन्द्रतिमिरमग्निदाहमिवाग्नयः ॥ ९ ॥
vajrāstramasṛjaddīptaṃ cerurvajragaṇāstataḥ ,
pibanto'drīndratimiramagnidāhamivāgnayaḥ 9
9. vajrāstram asṛjat dīptam ceruḥ vajragaṇāḥ tataḥ
pibantaḥ adrīndratimiram agnidāham iva agnayaḥ
9. (saḥ) dīptam vajrāstram asṛjat.
tataḥ vajragaṇāḥ agnayaḥ agnidāham iva,
adrīndratimiram pibantaḥ ceruḥ
9. He discharged the blazing thunderbolt weapon. Then, hosts of thunderbolts moved about, consuming the darkness covering the great mountains, just as fires consume a raging conflagration.
