योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-1, verse-15

मनः संपद्यते तेन महतः परमात्मनः ।
सुस्थिरादस्थिराकारस्तरङ्ग इव वारिधेः ॥ १५ ॥
manaḥ saṃpadyate tena mahataḥ paramātmanaḥ ,

15. The mind (manas) originates from that great supreme self (paramātman), just as a wave, with its transient form, arises from the steadfast ocean.
