श्रीराम उवाच ।
केनोक्तं कारणेनेदं ब्रह्मन्पूर्व स्वयंभुवा ।
कथं च भवता प्राप्तमेतत्कथय मे प्रभो ॥ १० ॥

कथं च भवता प्राप्तमेतत्कथय मे प्रभो ॥ १० ॥

kathaṃ ca bhavatā prāptametatkathaya me prabho 10

Śrī Rāma said: O Brahmin (brahman), by what reason was this teaching formerly spoken by the Self-born one (Svayambhū)? And O Lord, tell me how you obtained this.
