योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-17, verse-44

तृणपाषाणकाष्ठादिसर्वमामिषशङ्कया ।
आददाना स्फुरत्यन्ते तृष्णा मत्स्यी ह्रदे यथा ॥ ४४ ॥
tṛṇapāṣāṇakāṣṭhādisarvamāmiṣaśaṅkayā ,
ādadānā sphuratyante tṛṣṇā matsyī hrade yathā 44
44. tṛṇapāṣāṇakāṣṭhādisarvam āmiṣaśaṅkayā ādadānā
sphurati ante tṛṣṇā matsyī hrade yathā
44. Craving (tṛṣṇā), seizing everything like grass, stones, wood, and so forth, out of the suspicion that it might be bait, ultimately struggles, just like a fish (matsyī) in a pond.
