योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-17, verse-30

इदं कृत्वेदमायाति सर्वमेवासमञ्जसम् ।
अनारतं च यतते तृष्णा चेष्टेव दैविकी ॥ ३० ॥
idaṃ kṛtvedamāyāti sarvamevāsamañjasam ,
anārataṃ ca yatate tṛṣṇā ceṣṭeva daivikī 30
30. idam kṛtvā idam āyāti sarvam eva asamañjasam
anāratam ca yatate tṛṣṇā ceṣṭā iva daivikī
30. Having accomplished one thing, craving (tṛṣṇā) immediately moves on to another, for everything it encounters is ultimately unsatisfactory. It strives ceaselessly, as if driven by some divine impulse.
