योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-17, verse-11

तृष्णाभिधानया तात दग्धोऽस्मि ज्वालया तथा ।
यथा दाहोपशमनमाशंके नामृतैरपि ॥ ११ ॥
tṛṣṇābhidhānayā tāta dagdho'smi jvālayā tathā ,
yathā dāhopaśamanamāśaṃke nāmṛtairapi 11
11. tṛṣṇābhidhānayā tāta dagdhaḥ asmi jvālayā
tathā yathā dāhopaśamanam āśaṅke na amṛtaiḥ api
11. O dear one, I am so thoroughly consumed by the flame called craving (tṛṣṇā) that I do not expect any relief from its burning, not even from ambrosia (amṛta).
