योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-17, verse-27

जडकल्लोलबहुला चिरं शून्यान्तरान्तरा ।
क्षणमुल्लासमायाति तृष्णा प्रावृट्तरङ्गिणी ॥ २७ ॥

27. jaḍakallolabahulā ciram śūnyāntarāntarā
kṣaṇam ullāsam āyāti tṛṣṇā prāvṛttaraṅgiṇī
27. Craving (tṛṣṇā), like a rainy season river, is full of sluggish waves, often empty in its depths, and only momentarily comes to exuberance.
