योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-1, chapter-17, verse-15

पुत्रमित्रकलत्रादितृष्णया नित्यकृष्टया ।
खगेष्विव किरात्येदं जालं लोकेषु रच्यते ॥ १५ ॥

khageṣviva kirātyedaṃ jālaṃ lokeṣu racyate 15
15. putramitrakalatrāditṛṣṇayā nityakṛṣṭayā
khageṣu iva kirātyā idam jālam lokeṣu racyate
15. Through the persistent pull of craving for children, friends, wives, and so on, this net (jālam) of desires is spread among people (lokeṣu), just as a fowler (kirātī) spreads a net among birds (khageṣu).
