अथ रणविगतज्वरः प्रभुर्विजयमवाप्य निशाचराधिपः ।
भवनमभि ततो जगाम हृष्टः स्वसुतमवाप्य च वाक्यमब्रवीत् ॥३७॥
37. atha raṇavigatajvaraḥ prabhurvijayamavāpya niśācarādhipaḥ ,
bhavanamabhi tato jagāma hṛṣṭaḥ svasutamavāpya ca vākyamabravīt.

37. Then, having achieved victory and freed from the anxiety of battle, the lord of the Rākṣasas (Ravana) delightedly went towards his palace. And having met his own son, he spoke these words.
