वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-7, chapter-29, verse-21

एतस्मिन्नन्तरे नादो मुक्तो दानवराक्षसैः ।
हा हताः स्मेति तं दृष्ट्वा ग्रस्तं शक्रेण रावणम् ॥२१॥
21. etasminnantare nādo mukto dānavarākṣasaiḥ ,
hā hatāḥ smeti taṃ dṛṣṭvā grastaṃ śakreṇa rāvaṇam.
21. etasmin antare nādaḥ muktaḥ dānavarākṣasaiḥ hā
hatāḥ sma iti tam dṛṣṭvā grastam śakreṇa rāvaṇam
21. etasmin antare dānavarākṣasaiḥ nādaḥ muktaḥ hā hatāḥ sma iti śakreṇa grastam tam rāvaṇam dṛṣṭvā.
21. At this moment, a cry of "Alas, we are ruined!" was uttered by the dānavas and rākṣasas, seeing Rāvaṇa thus overwhelmed by Indra (śakra).
