वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-33, verse-20

संपातिस्तु त्रिभिर्बाणैः प्रजङ्घेन समाहतः ।
निजघानाश्वकर्णेन प्रजङ्घं रणमूर्धनि ॥२०॥
20. saṃpātistu tribhirbāṇaiḥ prajaṅghena samāhataḥ ,
nijaghānāśvakarṇena prajaṅghaṃ raṇamūrdhani.

20. Although Sampati was struck by Prajangha with three arrows, he retaliated and killed Prajangha on the battlefield with a weapon called Aśvakarṇa.
