मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-66, verse-13

अथाह काचिदभ्येत्य तं तदा हरिणाङ्गना ।
मय्येव पात्यतां बाणः प्रसीदेति पुनः पुनः ॥१३॥
13. athāha kācidabhyetya taṃ tadā hariṇāṅganā .
mayyeva pātyatāṃ bāṇaḥ prasīdeti punaḥ punaḥ.

mayi eva pātyatām bāṇaḥ prasīda iti punaḥ punaḥ
13. Then, at that time, a certain doe approached him and repeatedly said, "Let the arrow be shot at me alone; please be gracious!"
