मदालसोवाच ।
वत्स गार्हस्थ्यमादाय नरः सर्वमिदं जगत् ।
पुष्णाति तेन लोकांश्च स जयत्यभिवाञ्छितान् ॥३॥

vatsa gārhasthyamādāya naraḥ sarvamidaṃ jagat .
puṣṇāti tena lokāṃśca sa jayatyabhivāñchitān.

madālasā uvāca vatsa gārhasthyam ādāya naraḥ sarvam idam

Madālasā said: 'My child, by adopting the householder's life (gārhasthya), a person sustains this entire world. Through this, he nourishes the worlds and achieves his desired goals.'
