मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-29, verse-15

तस्मात् स्त्रातः शुचिर्भूत्वा देवर्षिपितृतर्पणम् ।
प्रजापतेस्तथैवादिभः काले कुर्यात् समाहितः ॥१५॥
15. tasmāt strātaḥ śucirbhūtvā devarṣipitṛtarpaṇam .
prajāpatestathaivādibhaḥ kāle kuryāt samāhitaḥ.
15. tasmāt snātaḥ śuciḥ bhūtvā devarṣipitṛtarpaṇam
prajāpateḥ tathā eva ādibhyaḥ kāle kuryāt samāhitaḥ
15. Therefore, having bathed and become pure, one should perform the offering (tarpaṇa) for the gods, sages, and ancestors. Similarly, one should make offerings for Prajāpati and others, at the appropriate time, with full concentration.
