मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-29, verse-21

गृहस्थस्तत्परो भूत्वा सुसमाहितमानसः ।
ततस्तोयमुपादाय तेष्वेवाचमनाय वै ॥२१॥
21. gṛhasthastatparo bhūtvā susamāhitamānasaḥ .
tatastoyamupādāya teṣvevācamanāya vai.

tatas toyam upādāya teṣu eva ācamanāya vai
21. Having become diligently devoted to these rites with a well-composed mind, the householder should then take water to offer to those deities for their ritual purification (ācamana).
