मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-29, verse-14

तस्मात् पुत्र मनुष्येण देवर्षिपितृमानवाः ।
भूतानि चानुदिवसं पोष्याणि स्वतनुर्यथा ॥१४॥
14. tasmāt putra manuṣyeṇa devarṣipitṛmānavāḥ .
bhūtāni cānudivasaṃ poṣyāṇi svatanuryathā.

bhūtāni ca anudivasam poṣyāṇi svatanuḥ yathā
14. Therefore, O child, a human being should daily nourish the gods, sages, ancestors, humans, and other living beings, just as one nourishes one's own body.
