स्थानेषु निक्षिपेत् प्राज्ञस्तास्ता उद्दिश्य देवताः ।
एवं गृहबलिं कृत्वा गृहे हृहपतिः शुचिः ॥२२॥

22. sthāneṣu nikṣipet prājñastāstā uddiśya devatāḥ .
evaṃ gṛhabaliṃ kṛtvā gṛhe hṛhapatiḥ śuciḥ.

22.
The wise householder, designating those very deities, should place (the water) in their respective places. Having thus performed the house offering (gṛhabali) in his home, the master of the house becomes pure.
