मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-29, verse-16

सुमनोगन्धपुष्पैश्च देवानभ्यर्च्य मानवः ।
ततोऽग्नेस्तर्पणं कुर्याद्देयाश्च बलयस्तथा ॥१६॥
16. sumanogandhapuṣpaiśca devānabhyarcya mānavaḥ .
tato'gnestarpaṇaṃ kuryāddeyāśca balayastathā.
16. sumanogandhapuṣpaiḥ ca devān abhyarcya mānavaḥ
tataḥ agneḥ tarpaṇam kuryāt deyāḥ ca balayaḥ tathā
16. A person, having worshipped the gods with fragrant and beautiful flowers, should then perform an offering (tarpaṇa) to Agni, and likewise, other oblations should be made.
