मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-26, verse-36

धन्योऽसि रे यो वसुधामशत्रुर् एकश्चिरं पालयितासि पुत्र ।
तत्पालनादस्तु सुखोपभोगो धर्मात् फलं प्राप्स्यसि चामरत्वम् ॥३६॥
36. dhanyo'si re yo vasudhāmaśatrur ekaściraṃ pālayitāsi putra .
tatpālanādastu sukhopabhogo dharmāt phalaṃ prāpsyasi cāmaratvam.
36. dhanyaḥ asi re yaḥ vasudhām aśatruḥ
ekaḥ ciram pālayitā asi putra
tat pālanāt astu sukhopabhogaḥ
dharmāt phalam prāpsyasi ca amaratvam
36. Blessed are you, my son, who, unrivaled and alone, will protect the earth for a long time. From that act of protection, may there be enjoyment and prosperity. And through your natural law (dharma), you shall attain the fruit (phalam) of immortality.
