मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-26, verse-10

शोभनानीति नामानि मया मन्ये कृतानि वै ।
योग्यानि क्षत्रबन्धूनां शौर्याटोपयुतानि च ॥१०॥
10. śobhanānīti nāmāni mayā manye kṛtāni vai .
yogyāni kṣatrabandhūnāṃ śauryāṭopayutāni ca.
10. śobhanāni iti nāmāni mayā manye kṛtāni vai |
yogyāni kṣatrabandhūnām śauryāṭopayutāni ca
10. "I believe that the names I have given are indeed beautiful and appropriate for kṣatriya kinsmen, being endowed with valor (śaurya) and grandeur."
