मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-26, verse-1

जड उवाच ।
वर्धमानं सुतं सा तु राजपत्नी दिने दिने ।
तमुल्लापादिना बोधमनयन्निर्ममात्मकम् ॥१॥
1. jaḍa uvāca .
vardhamānaṃ sutaṃ sā tu rājapatnī dine dine .
tamullāpādinā bodhamanayannirmamātmakam.

1. Jaḍa said: Day by day, that royal wife enlightened her growing son, bringing him to an understanding (bodha) of detachment (nirmamātmakam) through conversations and similar means.
