एष भ्राता सखा चैव तव कृष्ण धनंजयः ।
रक्षितव्यो महाबाहो सर्वास्वापत्स्विति प्रभो ।

24. eṣa bhrātā sakhā caiva tava kṛṣṇa dhanaṁjayaḥ ,

tava caivaṁ bruvāṇasya tathetyevāhamabruvam.

24.
'This Dhanaṃjaya (Arjuna) is your brother and indeed your friend, O Kṛṣṇa! O mighty-armed one, he must be protected in all dangers,' this is what you said, O Lord. And when you spoke thus, I indeed replied, 'So be it!'
