महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-8, chapter-37, verse-3

संशप्तकास्तु समरे शरवृष्टिं समन्ततः ।
अपातयन्पार्थमूर्ध्नि जयगृद्धाः प्रमन्यवः ॥३॥
3. saṁśaptakāstu samare śaravṛṣṭiṁ samantataḥ ,
apātayanpārthamūrdhni jayagṛddhāḥ pramanyavaḥ.

3. However, the Saṃśaptakas, being eager for victory and filled with great anger, showered a rain of arrows from all sides upon Arjuna's head in the battle.
