Just as a cloud, by forming and showering rain, extinguishes fire, similarly, in battle, I will pacify Pārtha with showers of arrows – Pārtha, who is like the blazing universal fire (vaiśvānara), radiating smoky flames, brilliant, and incinerating this world.
