महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-83, verse-35

ततः शरसहस्राणि प्रादुरासन्समन्ततः ।
तैः शरैस्तव सैन्यस्य विद्रावः सुमहानभूत् ॥३५॥
35. tataḥ śarasahasrāṇi prādurāsansamantataḥ ,
taiḥ śaraistava sainyasya vidrāvaḥ sumahānabhūt.

35. Then, thousands of arrows manifested from all directions. By those arrows, a massive rout of your army took place.
