महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-6, verse-38

द्रोणस्य शरवर्षैस्तु शरवर्षाणि भागशः ।
संनिवार्य ततः सेनां कुरूनप्यवधीद्बली ॥३८॥
38. droṇasya śaravarṣaistu śaravarṣāṇi bhāgaśaḥ ,
saṁnivārya tataḥ senāṁ kurūnapyavadhīdbalī.

38. But the powerful one (Dhṛṣṭadyumna), having completely repelled the rains of arrows from Droṇa, then annihilated the Kuru army and also struck down the Kurus (warriors) themselves.
