महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-6, verse-11

हृष्टाश्च बहवो योधास्तत्राजल्पन्त संगताः ।
न हि कर्णं रणे दृष्ट्वा युधि स्थास्यन्ति पाण्डवाः ॥११॥
11. hṛṣṭāśca bahavo yodhāstatrājalpanta saṁgatāḥ ,
na hi karṇaṁ raṇe dṛṣṭvā yudhi sthāsyanti pāṇḍavāḥ.
11. hṛṣṭāḥ ca bahavaḥ yodhāḥ tatra ājalpanta saṅgatāḥ
na hi karṇam raṇe dṛṣṭvā yudhi sthāsyanti pāṇḍavāḥ
11. ca tatra saṅgatāḥ hṛṣṭāḥ bahavaḥ yodhāḥ ājalpanta:
hi pāṇḍavāḥ karṇam raṇe dṛṣṭvā yudhi na sthāsyanti
11. And many joyful warriors, gathered there, spoke: 'Indeed, after seeing Karna in battle, the Pandavas will not stand in the fight!'
